Palm Springs - Susan's Bachelorette
How Long have we all been friends? Lets see here... carry the one, multiply the .... divide by the number of months.... OMG, we're getting old! Heidi, Silvia, Susan and Sarah (yours truly) have more or less been friends since 7th Grade at Sierra Vista Middle School - since we were, 12/13 years old. We've know each other 20 years, longer than we haven't known each other.
Susan is getting married to David this September. So to celebrate it was time for a Bahcelorette weekend. Although I was nervous about leaving Boden for my first weekend away from him, AND I was a little skeptical about Palm Springs in August (yes it was 108 degrees). The weekend was a blast!
Just like old times, Heidi and Susan picked Silvia and I up at LAX and we drove to Palm Springs (stopping by the outlets on the way). The weekend was spend out at the pool getting some much needed relaxation and sun - and dancing the nights away. Susan giving us mini-massages (even though she was the bride), and teaching us fun yoga/ pilates moves.
We even stopped by the Proud Bird (this amazing little restaurant by LAX with old planes where you can watch landings and takeoffs) when we were dropped off at the airport. All these photos are from my iphone. What a great time. Thanks Earth Goddess's (comic book cirac 1994).

Photography Class

Steve got me a cool deal, from Living Social (its like Groupon) - where I was able to take a 3 hour Digital Photography Class. I was a little skeptical, but it was definitely a great experience, and I feel like I got to know my camera a ton better. I'll keep practicing. Here is a photo I took of my favorite subject after the class.

Boden's Baptism
We are so lucky to be surrounded by such supportive, loving and amazing family. This little kid should never doubt how special he is. Its evident by everyone who came out for his Baptism. Special thanks for Abuelo Steve for traveling from Puerto Rico, and to Godparents Aunt Brenda and Uncle Brian. Brenda and Marc who dabble in just about everything (yoga, climbing, engineering, art, photography) were gracious enough to photograph our weekend to build up their portfolio. Check out a few of my favorites below, and for others visit their website!
