11 Months!

Catch up...

Oh my goodness. I'm that person. I'm the person who promises to blog and then never does.

But, it is now 2012... my new goal - blog about the Holidays! I never understood why everyone thought the Holiday season was so stressful - and then I had a family. Holy cow, so much more work. The time just flew by. But, hopefully I will be able to catch up on all our November and December excitement. Boden started walking at about 10 1/2 months, and how he's running! So, to bide my time, here is a video that cracks me up and I think shows you what a cute kid our little Baby Boden has become. He really makes us laugh every day.

San Diego - Zoo

We made it to sunny southern California. After 15 hours in the car with Delilah and Boden, we arrived. Steve made a brilliant call before we left "We are driving through the night". And with that, Boden slept almost the entire time. Hurray!

So, I will update about Thanksgiving and our whole week after our trip home. But, I wanted to share a few quick photos of our amazing adventure to the San Diego Zoo. We met up with Mara, Eric and Maya (Boden's long time lady friend) for some animal sight seeing. It was a fantastic day! We missed the rain and enjoyed the animals up close and with little crowds. After the zoo we even made a quick trip to visit with Melissa, Derek, Grady and Kendall. Boden LOVED his cousin Grady (or should we say all of Cousin Grady's toys!) What a fun little adventure. We tried to get photos of the three little ones - but needless to say, only Kendall cooperated!

Almost Halloween!

Boden is going to be a Dragon! Although, the outfit is a little big for him... maybe it will fit next year?

We also have an adorable little tiger track suit if he seems too annoyed by the Dragon (Thanks Grammie!). There are a few events around Boulder for the little ones. The most exciting is likely to be the Munchkin Masquerade on Pearl Street. Steve and I accidentally stumbled across this last year, when we went out to Sushi for happy hour - it might be the cutest thing I've ever seen. Hundreds of tiny ghosts, goblins (princesses, frogs, lobsters, trolls, dinosaurs... anything you can think of) descending on the mall and stumbling around the way only toddlers can. We'll definitely try to stop by, even though Halloween falls on a Monday.
