So..... as you know, its been a busy start to our 2013. First we welcomed a new baby. Then everyone got terribly sick and wound up in the Hospital... and amidst all the chaos we put our house back on the market. I don't know if it is the current economic situation, or the fact that we hired a new and amazing realtor - but our house is under contract - YAY! We had ZERO showings. Someone came by for a preview and offered $1K over asking price (which was still higher than we had it listed for in the fall). Amazing.
Our other concern was trying to find the perfect house for us to move to. Houses where we are looking are going under contract quickly with multiple offers. But, just this weekend we saw one in East Boulder (Gunbarrel) that just came on the market. It is perfect for us. Cul-de-sac, 3 car garage, move in ready, yet with enough in the "wish list" for us to customize and make our own as we grow into it. It has an office (a must!), 3 bedrooms up. Master bathroom with 5 piece bath (WHAT?! More than one bathroom? Yes! Four!), a basement with a wine cooler and wet bar, and a GUEST ROOM (people can finally visit and stay with us... although I'm not sure if that is good or bad. Ok, I jest, we are excited for visitors!)
We have an inspection in another week, and fingers crossed we will be moving in May. I will post photos when everything is a done deal, and send out our updated address!
So - here are the recent photos of our current house (love and will miss it - but clearly outgrew our space). I do love the modern/ cute vibe of our house and hope we can make our new one just as funky and functional. Also, its always this clean in case you're wondering... NOT.
