4th of July - 2015

A Full Fourth for the Fezler Family (I love alliterations)! We started the 4th of July with a great local race. It was put on by 3W (do What you can, When you can, Where you are). I've run a few half marathons with them, and the races they put on are local, and top notch. This was no exception. The race was in Louisville, which is about 10 minutes from our house. They started with a kids 50 meter dash - which Boden loved! After the kid race, we took to the family 5k, which was stroller friendly. Steve pushed about 50+ lbs of kids the whole way, and pushed me too (mentally)!

Carnage everywhere :)

Good Job!

Next up was the 5k race for Steve and I - he pushed those boys the whole way!

After our morning races we headed home to enjoy some rest and relaxation and get ready for a full evening. We met up with Steve's Family at Dick's Sporting Good Park to watch the Rapid's play soccer. Steve's Aunts Carla and Sue live in Denver, but his Aunt Johanna, Uncle Chris and cousins Sarah and Nathan were visiting from back east. Although there were some thunderstorms early on, the rain held out and we enjoyed a great tail gate before heading into the stadium to watch some soccer and fireworks! Both boys LOVED the fireworks. In fact, Milo's favorite song in the whole world is Katie Perry's Firework song. It was a wonderful night, and great way to celebrate this beautiful country.

The whole family at the tailgate.

The boys were smitten with Sarah - watched all the fireworks from her lap!

Go RAPIDS!!!!
