Brenda and Marc visit - Camping!

Our next round of visitors were Brenda and Marc. We had so much fun while they were here, and even took the boys on our very first family camping trip. It was fantastic to have Brenda and Marc help us ... they made camping with little ones so easy - clearly they are professionals and we had a personal Chef (Marc) to boot. To top it off, they captured some beautiful photos.

So many other fun adventures took place as well. Brenda babysat while Steve and I headed down to Pearl Street to celebrate our 7th Wedding anniversary. She gave Boden swim lessons when we went to our pool, and Marc and his blow torch helped me kill over a billion wasps living under our front porch step.

Celebrating 7 years of marriage, August 2nd 2015

Sadly, their sweet dog Riley was very ill, and they made the difficult decision to put him to sleep near the end of their stay in Colorado. Steve and I went with them to our vet and we all sat with Riley as he moved on. It was tough to watch, but Brenda and Marc gave Riley such love and affection and it was clear he was ready to go. We love you Riley!
